Meditation on Aspects of the Goddess: Hindu Archetypes for Awakening the Divine Feminine (8 Thursday evenings)

  • Aslan Institute 4141 Old Sibley Memorial Highway Eagan, MN, 55122 United States (map)

8 Thursdays 7-8:30pm Beginning January 14th Ending March 3rd

  • Open the layers of your soul that are related to these particular energies
  • Recognize and own their shadowy aspects
  • Access their power to awaken and transform you
  • Dance with their energies
  • Discover which goddesses predominate in your life

Yogic sages anticipated quantum physics by pointing out that a subtle vibratory energy is the source of everything we know. They experienced this energy as the expression of the divine feminine power, called Shakti. The word shakti means “power.” Shakti, the innate power in our universe, has five “facets.” It manifests as the power to be conscious, the power to feel ecstasy, the power of will or desire, the power to know, and the power to act.

When we engage with the personal aspects of these Shakti energies as Goddess Archetypes—with their mythic, symbolic forms—we active hidden powers in our own psyche that then transform us.

Each week we will immerse ourselves in the stories, teachings, visualizations, mantras and meditations associated with a Hindu goddess such as Kali, Lakshmi, Saraswati, and Parvati.

It is my hope that these teachings, along with a daily meditation practice, will offer you a path for evolving consciousness and new way of being that brings you closer to spirit and a relaxed, centered awareness in each moment.
