Each week, we will focus on a different Hindu sutra—a vibration—known in Sanskrit as the mahavakyas or master sayings. These vibrations are said to have been heard by ancient seers and have been used successfully for thousands of years as a way to transcend and go back to the source of thought—which is pure consciousness.
Meditation is a timeless Wisdom Practice for returning us to pure consciousness and answering life’s core questions. My intention is threefold: to demystify the art and practice of meditation; to share the practical process for calming your mind so that you may experience the quiet already present within you; and to provide basic tools that support you in maintaining a daily meditation practice.
It is my hope that these Mahavakyas, along with a daily meditation practice, will offer you a new way of relating that brings you closer to spirit and a relaxed, centered awareness in each moment.
